About This Blog

Hello all, and welcome to A Basketball Mind!

So what is this blog all about?

Well, I'll explain it like this:

From time to time, my mind gets going. Sometimes the impetus is an interesting article on TrueHoop or some other blog or website. Sometimes it's a book I'm reading. Sometimes it's a subject I'm studying. Sometimes it's a game of basketball I'm watching or playing in.

And when my mind gets going, no matter where it started, if I give it time, it will come around to how that impetus relates to basketball--the nature of the game, the beauty of the game, and the complexities of the game.

And the best way for me to fully develop these mental ramblings is to go through the process of explaining them to someone else. And the best way for me to do that is this blog.

So basically this blog is a space where I will try to put words to the thoughts that have been bouncing around in my head. It just so happens that most if not all of these thoughts will relate to basketball.

This blog is a continuation of/upgrade from my old blog by the same name: A Basketball Mind. I will post some of the better posts from that blog to this one, but if you're interested you can check that one out too. (Warning: I started the blog when I was a sophomore in high school, so if you go back far enough you'll find...well, you won't find anything worth much, except a few jokes about Shaq, Nazr Mohammed, and Rasho Nesterovic).

So thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again!
